The updated version 1.1 of Telekurs FinXL presents some new functionalities and some technical improvements that make it even more attractive for our customers.

Telekurs FinXL 1.1 features the following new functionalities:

New “GetHisto” function
Through this function, contained in the Treasury & Risk and in the Asset Management Package, you can download our historical time series. GetHisto has a limit of 200 instruments per day, as does the GetSnap function.

New FinXL Toolbar
The former FinXL Toolbar has been replaced by a minimized Toolbar available in Windows Systray.

Dedicated FinXL menu in Excel 2007
A Telekurs FinXL Tab is now available in the Excel menu bar.

Data field labels in local language (Data field converter)
The “Convertfields” tool allows you to change the language of all fields already in place in the workbook. You can convert field labels into your local interface language (French, German, Italian and Spanish)

Furthermore, the following technical enhancements have been made:

Auto Update
You can choose to be advised as soon as a new Telekurs FinXL version is available. This option can be disabled if a customer’s IT department doesn't allow this kind of process.

Protocol connection parameters & compression
In addition to the TCP protocol (port 15119/15120), the HTTP protocol (port 80) is now available. Compression on TCP and HTTP protocols has been implemented in order to reduce FINXL bandwidth usage.

Single Sign on
Once connected to the Frontdoor, you don’t have to re-enter your login parameters to access FinXL.

Windows 7 and MS 2010
Telekurs FinXL 1.1 is now compatible with Windows 7 and Excel 2010.
